Assistant to GM/Head Golf Professional
Description: Seasonal Part-time, 30 – 38 hours per week. Winter, Nov - March, 20 – 30 or fewer hours per week. Waged position. Not eligible for benefits. Privileges include unlimited golf with cart and use of range/practice facility. Responsible to the GM/Head Golf Professional. Reports to the GM/Head Golf Professional. Will train.
Responsibilities: Ability to learn Point of Sale (POS) and golf related computer programs; Ability to multi-task with customers present…answer phones, use POS, etc.; Assist the GM/Head Golf Professional with daily, weekly and monthly reporting, financial reconciliations and member billing; Assist in support and supply of the Pro Shop food & beverage inventories; Assist in support of tournament/outing administration functions; Assist in support of weekly staff scheduling. Assist GM/Head Golf Professional in other management, operational and administrative areas as directed.
Requirements: Exhibit customer friendly attitudes. Readily grasp knowledge of all golf customer related services including problem solving. Organized and manages time well. Professional staff appearance and possess customer service skills. Personable and polite character to interact with members, guests and FDCC Staff. Must be honest, responsible and reliable. Must have reliable transportation. Able to be on-time and able to work weekends and/or extended periods if needed. Knowledge of Microsoft computer programs i.e. Word, Excel, Google email, etc. Website and social media knowledge beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities: Perform weekly scheduling duties for Outside staff and submit to GM. Must have the ability to supervise and share workload with outside staff for the following duties.
Pick range daily; Clean pick for mowing; Wash & replenish range balls; Maintain ball washing machine; Clean range baskets; Maintain practice range area; Maintain short game area. Wash & clean golf carts. Proper cart staging and supplied for play. Tournament cart staging.
Requirements: Must have reliable transportation. Possess a valid drivers license. Able to work a flexible schedule of 2 to 4 hours per day including weekends and holidays. Able to perform tasks with minimal supervision. Organized and manages time well. Able to lift, bend and carry 25 pounds minimum. Mechanical aptitude beneficial but not required. Professional staff appearance and possess customer service skills. Personable and polite character to interact with members, guests and FDCC Staff.
