FDCC Thursday Night Golf League
2020 rules and procedures
League registration fee is $75.00
Individual fees each night will be $5, team fee total of $10. This Individual fee is not part of your green fee.
All fees TBD ($xxx.00) will be paid in full within the first 3 weeks of league play. Cash or checks only. Please make checks payable to Thursday Night League.
Sign up will be through the Golf Genius (GG) online portal. You can access it anytime either on the link or through the GG mobile app.
NO SCORECARDS – Weekly match play scoring will use GG “Live Scoring”. Please download the Golf Genius app. Directions to download & use are on the league portal along season team standings.
Non-Members: If a non-member would like to play early, they must play with a member. Regular Green fees and cart fees are payable. The driving range is available at 5 pm – range balls are $5 per bucket. A League Greens Fee ($11.00) for the 9-hole competition is payable prior to the start of league play.
Shotgun start with hole assignments as displayed on the Golf Genius mobile app. Play will begin at 6 pm SHARP!
Format: 2-man, 9 hole – Match play. Each hole is worth 1 point. If players tie the hole, each will receive ½ point. Team low net will be worth 5 points with a total of 14 points available.
Teams will play against another team as a foursome. If a scheduled team “No Shows” it forfeits all points to the team that showed. Players are responsible to arrange for their “Sub” player. The Pro Shop will have a list of eligible “Subs”.
League season is a Round Robin format. Every team will play every team. Team with the most awarded points at the end of the season wins.
If it starts to rain or storm activity occurs during play, please come to the Clubhouse. The manager will make the decision to play or cancel league. If your team leaves before a decision is made, your team will forfeit all points.
